Daniel Malmon, RG
Daniel is a fluvial geomorphologist with more than 30 years of experience performing scientific research and engineering consulting focused on understanding landforms and processes and using this understanding to improve landscape management. His consulting experience includes leading many multidisciplinary, science-based restoration planning and engineering design projects for a wide range of agencies and organizations throughout the western United States. His research experience includes field and modeling studies of hillslope and fluvial processes, landscape evolution, and quaternary stratigraphy and mapping. His approach emphasizes applying sound science to engineering design, stakeholder collaboration, and clear communications with both technical and non-technical audiences.
