Mickey O'Brien

Mickey brings a diversity of experience in fisheries and geomorphic science with a background supporting governmental, academic, non-profit agencies. Her areas of expertise include quantitative habitat and ecological health assessment, river management, watershed ecology, and process-based floodplain restoration. Prior to joining W2r, Mickey worked for the U.S. Forest Service in Oregon designing and implementing Stage 0 restoration projects and collaborating with broad stakeholder teams. COMMITMENT TO EQUITY

While work in the water and natural resources fields has been built around protecting and preserving nature, it has not always protected or accepted all people. Wolf Water Resources recognizes the exclusive history of engineering and environmentalism and we are diligently working towards more diverse collaborations. Diversifying our profession is a vital and on-going journey, and W2r commits to interviewing 100% of minority applicants and providing contacts and recommendations when we do not have an immediate employment opening. W2r also actively involves minority, woman, and veteran-owned firms on project work and in business operations.
