PRESIDENT OF WOLF WATER RESOURCES
Marjorie Wolfe, PE, CFM
Marjorie is distinguished among her peers for expertise in stream corridor resiliency and floodplain management, areas municipalities are increasingly turning to as urban development poses threats to water quality and habitat. She has built her career upon work in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington—this work shaping her philosophy that successful projects require not just a sound understanding of the technical aspects, but also the stakeholder values. From this platform Marjorie holds a reputation as a trusted advisor and collaborator, especially in the area of integrating floodplains/ naturally functioning streams as part of a region’s natural infrastructure. Marjorie is frequently invited to speak on this topic—recently, she flew to Washington DC on behalf of the Pew Charitable Trust to educate representatives on how to create law to protect flood-prone communities.
Marjorie’s passion and dedication to her work is reflected through her involvement with organizations such as River Restoration Northwest, Women Leading Water, and Northwest Regional Floodplain Management Association. Her free time is spent exploring local streams and forests with her dog.
