ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Mari Lucas

Mari supports a variety of reach-scale and site-level design projects with GIS analysis and mapping of ecological data. Her recent projects include the Johnson Creek Oxbow, Tryon Creek Fish Passage, Rock Creek Stream Assessment, and Sprague River Floodplain Reconnection. Prior to joining W2r Mari worked in the utility industry where she mapped potential environmental impacts on easement properties for clients. These efforts, combined with her research in water law and policy, benefit her abilities to translate data and to clearly communicate ecological relationships in mapping and other work products. In addition, Mari’s previous field assessments have shaped her knowledge on tree identification and wildlife.
