Jeremy Lowe
Jeremy translates state of the art science into a practical and implementable level on design projects, where he has built trust among many of the project stakeholders in our region. This includes a long history of working on projects in the Lower Columbia Estuary where he has helped author the USACE Shallow Water Habitat Guidelines for the Lower Columbia River and the WDFW Water Crossing Design Guidelines for Tidal Systems. Additional career highlights include designing sea defenses to reduce flooding in Venice, Italy and authoring tidal wetland guidelines for San Francisco Bay and the Puget Sound and Lower Columbia River Estuary. Jeremy also works at the San Francisco Estuary Institute where he leads the Institute’s initiatives related to rising ocean levels due to climate change.
