ENGINEER IN TRAINING

Daniel Kelley, EIT

Daniel is a water resources EIT with experience in stream and wetland restoration design and stormwater management. He has worked throughout Oregon and Washington in watersheds such as the Tualatin, Sandy, North Santiam, Scappoose Bay, and Salmon-Washougal addressing the needs for fish passage and natural systems function. Having seen several stream and floodplain enhancement projects implemented through his prior role as a field restoration technician, Daniel has seen firsthand how nature’s processes are continually eroding and reshaping our Pacific Northwest landscapes. In the field or in the office, Daniel supports a variety of planning and design projects with skill in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and HydroCAD.

COMMITMENT TO EQUITY

While work in the water and natural resources fields has been built around protecting and preserving nature, it has not always protected or accepted all people. Wolf Water Resources recognizes the exclusive history of engineering and environmentalism and we are diligently working towards more diverse collaborations. Diversifying our profession is a vital and on-going journey, and W2r commits to interviewing 100% of minority applicants and providing contacts and recommendations when we do not have an immediate employment opening. W2r also actively involves minority, woman, and veteran-owned firms on project work and in business operations.
