From the Willamette Valley to the Okanogan, Bijoux has supported some of W2r’s most successful projects for process-based restoration, fish passage, and integrated infrastructure projects, including the Steigerwald NWR Floodplain Reconnection, Twisp River Devany Side Channel Reconnection, Big Creek Floodplain Restoration, and Cedar Mill Creek Corridor Enhancement. Her expertise centers on the functional resilience and ecosystem services created from using large wood in urban stream restoration. She provides HEC-RAS modeling and analyses, field assessments, design support, and plan set development.
