Rowyn is an engineer-in-training specializing in water quality and stream restoration design. His recent work as a watershed steward involved stream and water quality assessments, analysis, and report writing. He is also trained as a Wilderness First Responder. His modeling capabilities include HEC-RAS, StormCAD, and EPAnet and he uses ArcGIS for data analysis and mapping. Rowyn brings a diverse array of stream assessment and surveying skills including auto level, total station, RTK, handheld GPS, laser range finding, discharge measurement, macro-invertebrate sampling, and particle counts. As an enthusiastic outdoorsman with a passion for rafting and kayaking he has developed an intimate understanding of river dynamics.
