Over the past 20 years, Curtis has practiced water resources engineering in watersheds across the country, with a focus on surface water systems in Washington, Oregon, and California. He has guided these projects from start to finish: from technical engineering analyses and planning, to design and permitting, and construction phases.
Curtis’ experience involves preparation of detailed designs, technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction plans and schedules. He has also conducted hydrologic, hydraulic, geomorphic, and sediment transport and water quality analyses to support restoration projects. Recently, he completed final designs and provided engineering support during construction of several large tidal wetland and floodplain habitat restoration projects along streams, rivers, and estuaries in the Pacific Northwest.
